Consolidated PB4Y-2 Privateer
As we continue to restore areas of the PB4Y-2 Privateer, we keep her flyable while performing inspections and maintenance, as well as engine runs of the aircraft.
Behind the Scenes
This Privateer has Wright R2600 engines installed instead of the original Pratt and Whitney R1830’s. The 2600’s were installed by the fire bomber businesses so that a greater gross weight was possible.
